  Description: $35.00 for Adults, $25.00 for Juniors & HRC members PLUS a BBQ for a $5.00/per person additional charge. Please let us know how many BBQ “tickets” you will need. Through August 18th entry fee will be refunded minus a $5 processing fee. Cancellations after this date must be accompanied by a Veterinarian’s certificate. Registration fee includes coffee, donuts, and trail snacks. Entries will be limited and a waiting list will be maintained.

There will also be a BBQ after the ride for an additional fee. If you would like to participate the cost is $5.00 per person please include this fee with your registration fee.

The HRC 15 mile ride is designed to be an educational experience for new comers (horses or people) to the sport of Competitive Trail Riding. However, all horses and riders should come conditioned and prepared to complete the 15 mile course at a 6-61/2 mile an hour pace. HRC will attempt to find riders for first time CTR adults. All juniors will need to bring an adult sponsor to ride with them. This ride will be made up of a combination of trails and roads throughout the “Vermont hills”.

Vet in will begin at 7:00 am

GUIDELINES: Ride will be run according to ECTRA rules and guidelines. Horses must be 4 yrs old or over. Junior riders must be 17 yrs and under as of Jan. 1, 2006 and must be accompanied by an adult rider. Riders will be briefed prior to the ride on trail markings, starting order, exact length of ride and difficult trail sections.

* All Riders must wear an approved riding helmet

* A red ribbon must be worn in the tail of a known kicker.

* A yellow ribbon must be worn in the tail of a stallion.

* Due to local terrain, protective hoof gear is recommended on all four feet of all horses

PLEASE! These grounds are a private residence. Tread lightly. Before you leave be sure the area around your trailer is clean – no manure, hay, trash, etc. left on the grounds.
